HV controler card is CERN-made VME cart described by EDA-01209-V2. It contains DAC and ADC.

• ADCs are 12 Bits Analog Device AD7938BSU-6 clocked at 12MHz

The card is giving problems when switching from PPC to Linux CPU (see Bogna's presentation)

Analyzing the communictaion on the VME bus showed that the hardware has limitations, which the control software cannot fully compensate (see node/199074). Therefore a redesign of the HV control card has been started.
