Numerous measurements, calculations and discussions took place in order to:
1. establish what are the actual values of optics functions in the location of BI instruments in various moments of the supercycle,
2. design new IR4 optics, resulting in beam sizes more optimal for being measured by BI instruments (WS, BSRT, BGI, BGV).
